Try taking the labels off of everything in the kitchen, and see if your mother can guess what's inside.
Be kind to earthworms in the cold weather, they should be somewhere warm, such as your mother's bed.

I think you should do something educational to occupy you, such as learning a musical instrument.
Bagpipes, drums or trumpet would be my favourite.
And get your mother to buy an instrument for you. She is SO mean.
